Articu Languages

Speech is local. Speech AI should be too.

A language pack is more than translated interface text. Articu's language architecture is designed around language-specific phonemes, word structures, dialects, developmental evidence and clinician validation. For SLPs, multilingual clinics, researchers and partners.

The core idea

Not translated. Localized.

Speech development cannot be localized by translating an English word list. Each language carries its own phoneme inventory, phonotactics, developmental expectations, dialect variation and clinical context.

What localization means here

Language-specific sound systems and word structures, dialect-aware configuration, locally relevant target words, and clinical validation in the target language.

What it is not

A translated interface over an English engine. A single global “correct pronunciation” standard. Dialect differences treated as errors.

Language pack anatomy

  • Phonotactics
  • Permissible word positions
  • Syllable structure
  • Dialect variants
  • Age / development references
  • Target-word corpus
  • Error taxonomy
  • Clinician validation
  • Quality benchmark
  • Known limitations

Current status

Honest status, not support claims.

These are product roadmap statuses. Nothing on this page claims production support for a language or dialect.

A principle

Dialect difference is not a disorder.

Articu should never treat a language or dialect difference as an impairment simply because it differs from one training norm. Accent and dialect are part of identity—not errors to be fixed.

Validation expectations

Every pack must earn its status.

A language pack ships with its own benchmark expectations: phoneme coverage, child speech data, clinician validation and known limitations—published per language.
